MAYDAY Spring Concert and Activities MAY 1, starting at 5:30pm with the Parade. Music Concert and MayDay Court at 6:30pm. Student Artisan Market will be set up as you arrive and leave in the Concessions Room at AHS near the gym.


The ASD Talent Show will be on April 17th @ 6pm in the Grade School Cafetorium. The High School track team will also be holding a bake sale & a silent auction during the talent show! Please come and support the youth of our district as they display their talents.

GILLIAM COUNTY BICYCLE SAFETY RODEO Children, age K - 8th grade, are invited to participate in the Gilliam County Bicycle Safety Rodeo. There will be staff on hand to check bicycles for fit and safety, helmets available for our kiddos who don't have them, and even a chance to win prizes including a new bike! There will be courses set up to promote safe riding and decision making while on our roadways and public areas. Permission slips are required and are sent out from school.

Read Across America Day, also known as Dr Seuss Day, is a yearly observance in the USA inaugurated by the NEA (National Education Association). It is held on the school day that is nearest to March 2nd, Dr Seuss birthday. Theodor Seuss Geisel was an American artist, book publisher, animator, poet, a political cartoonist as well as an author. He is best known for authoring over 60 children’s books.
ASD will be having dress up days this week (MARCH 4-7) to celebrate. Keep Calm and READ TO and WITH your kids.
